New Moms Connect The New Moms Connect program is designed to help families who are experiencing challenges related to being a new parent. This program provides education, resources and support services, through telephone calls, referrals and home visits, when needed. New Moms Connect also offers parenting education classes, infant mommy and me classes, and support groups.
New Moms Connect volunteers are available to assist families with:- Developing a family support system
- Planning extra help at home
- Participation in a support group
- Obtaining spiritual support
- Referral for medical evaluation
- Referral for psychiatric evaluation
- Counseling
- Warmline for extra support for Moms, Dads, or family members
NMC also provides referrals to community resources, and to practitioners working directly with families specializing in Postpartum issues.
